The 496code team has a long history in computer security, and security is always in mind in all of our software development.

We have strong backgrounds in mathematics and cryptography, and extensive industry experience with host/network security and secure programming. Our interest in applied cryptography has led us to develop the ClearCrypto project, which aims to provide a cryposystem suitable for use in peer-to-peer environments (particularly as used in Pipes).
